On introverted intuition w/ Sara & Dan
Freyia is joined once again by Sara (she/her) and Dan (he/him) for her first Folie Á Trois - wink wink. All three identify as having INFJ cognitive preferences under Carl Jung’s 8 cognitive functions theory, of which introverted intuition is the dominant function - the primary lens through which they experience the world. In this round table discussion they dive deep into what is meant by introverted intuition, and share how they individually experience it.

“Intuition is the key to everything, in painting, filmmaking, business - everything. I think you could have an intellectual ability, but if you can sharpen your intuition, which they say is emotion and intellect joining together, then a knowingness occurs.”
- David Lynch
“I don’t see any boundaries between any of the art forms. I think they all inter-relate completely. Talking about art is like dancing about architecture.”
- David Bowie
"In intuition a content presents itself whole and complete, without our being able to explain or discover how this content came into existence. Intuition is a kind of instinctive apprehension, no matter of what contents…Intuitive knowledge possesses an intrinsic certainty and conviction.”

“There are half-a-dozen subjects that I return to time and time again, and that doesn’t bother me because most of my favorite writers do that, to hunt down the same topic or theme from different directions each time. I don't have stylistic loyalty. That's why people perceive me changing all the time. But there is a real continuity in my subject matter.”
