Hi, I’m Freyia (she/her)

The same headshot of Freyia as shown on the main page is displayed here.
  • a curious cat, a fly on the wall, a realistic romantic, an INFJ, a minimalist, hungry for knowledge, currently nerding out on historial haircare (my goal is to grow mermaid-length locks.)

  • ‘elevated’ horror, misty cold skies, dusty lofi electronic hip hop, the sea, metacommunication, the moon, being in water, organising stuff, delicate vintage clothing, YouTube video essays, the comedian Kevin James Thornton’s autotuned videoclips.

  • being rushed, ‘splaining, snap assumptions, unnecessary packaging, being hot, chronic venting without looking for solutions, when you ask someone a question and their partner or friend answers on their behalf, junk drawers.

I began my journey working in wellbeing after my own physical and mental health crisis which forced me to step away from the working world. Once I felt able, I decided to begin a new professional training pathway, so I could pass on what I had learned to help others in a safe and boundaried manner.

During this period of upskilling, intensive learning and beginning my private practice I realised that essentially what my heart was drawn to in wellbeing work is guiding people back into their bodies. Teaching them how to make a safe home of them. Retethering the bodymind.

Within this broad scope of bodymind reparation, I specialise in improving body image and healing difficult relationships to food and eating.

I’m equally interested in theory and exploring the abstract as I am working practically. My aim is for my clients to be able to explore and inquire, but ultimately apply what they discover to their day to day lives.

If you choose to work with me expect analogies and metaphors aplenty, space for creativity, soft candor, some whimsy and much nerdery.
